Meet the Coach
Carnell Blackmon was born and raised on Chicago's South/East Side. Carnell was a student and baseball alum of Hyde Park Career Academy and North Park University. Carnell played baseball at a high level. He was selected to all city honors as well as all-state. After a successful career at North Park University and a short stint as a pro, Carnell began finding a different approach to an old dream and started coaching and instructing. Carnell specializes in the area of pitching and he is currently a well-known coach and instructor. Carnell is currently the varsity pitching coach for Kenwood Academy and also works with the White Sox Ace program.
